So quick question for the powers that be,
If split 2 isn't getting livestreamed, is it such an issue for teams to use same liveries? Is there a way to create simple RSR liveries for all members to download?
Just throwing this out there as there a quite a few of us looking to use it(ferrari) as opposed to the Ford Fest that is currently split 1 ;D

*my english is awful

Already answered here. We do know it is not ideal but we have to stick to it now (at least for season 4).

Somebody hasn't been paying attention to what happens when I 'accidentally'
in the induction sessions. Naughty naughty. I suggest Jaco attends tomorrow night's induction for a refresher course ;).

Ok, today’s induction made it clear, yeah..what made it unclear for me is that I thought that 2x2 is being held all the time. Forgot that before forming up we drive in a line...so, yes everything ok. Thanks for the effort of explaining this to me guys.

Looks like the Porsche DLC is released.
Will there be an addition of 911 RSR to the line-up?
Will these rules be applied if yes?
- The driver must have completed at least 2 races with their current car.
- The driver acknowledges the fact that they will lose all of their championship points in both the Driver's and Team's standings and will start again from 0.

Not everyone uses that. I do not and i find the livery the best way to identify my rivals.

I now know that i have to be aware of those pesky alien green (the colour!) fords, if they do not take each other out of the race on the first turn (hope you guys dont mind the joke :D)

I've never been called an alien, so thanks! I might have rather shot my bolt though. Work commitments over the next few weeks will mean more limited chances to practice. I'll be back in my rightful rear guard position soon enough

My fellow pixel petrolheads and especially Event/Lobby managers, I have a request to make, as it seems that we (again) start the season with massive delay on the scheduled session start times (around 20 minutes in Split 2).
Can we please have the servers up and running at the beginning of the driver briefing? This would really save some time, because everybody can join during the briefing, and the one or other who has problems and needs to restart the PC or VR or whatever can try to solve that issue prior to the official session start time. It's somehow annoying and also disturbing focus when you have to wait another 5 minutes for someone to reboot their PC, and another 5 minutes for someone reconnecting, calibrating the wheel..whatever.
I don't want to sound rude or demanding, but when we had to restart the Season 3 race in Imola for example, and finished at around 11pm, the next day at work was not a pleasure.
On another note, I know not everybody can have his cave, but I would appreciate some guys to assign a "mute wife" errr "mute mic" button, as this was very off-putting in the last minutes of the qualy session (I literally ruined my best qualy lap because of that). Any comments appreciated.

Could't agree more.

I think that it was me. I am really sorry. I used to drive in room alone, but now I moved my computer into living room, and I thought that my mic is in up (turned off) position, but it fall down by itself, and from motor running in earphines I can't hear anything outside game.

While I fully understand and appreciate the comments, we do everything in our power to make sure we get started on time, we did have some unexpected delays in getting everything set up on Monday evening which we will have ironed out by the next event. While I understand the frustration that there can be delays due to restarts and problems with machines, we are here to give everyone a fair chance to get back in and race should something like this happen, We will discuss this internally and look at best solution moving forward.

With regards to the Teamspeak issue, I completely agree but will say further aswell to the issues with random outbursts/sighs/grunts and shouts during the race were completely unacceptable, we ask at the start of every race to keep things like this down to a minimum so that everyone can concentrate and it is getting worse, also we need to remember and respect the fact we have other drivers on here racing and even those that have crossed the finish line and starting to celebrate need to remember there are others still concentrating and trying to finish a race. While we are all happy that we get through these events can we please wait till after the results screen has come up to start congratulating each other.

I was doing a gigantic post, i'll just say i completey agree with Shepard's comment.

By giving everyones what i believe is more than enough time to have their software/hardware ready, you might be taking other people opportunity to finish the race because they might have commitments after the race finishes, and this should be fair enough because races have a pre-defined lenght and shedule.

As for the TeamSpeak issue, i think enough has been said. I can gladly do a simple guide on how to make the changes to: 1. setup push-to-talk 2. setup a MUTE button on your wheel / keyboard. From my vast experience in Online games unfortunately there is always that guy that could not care less with this so perhaps a more incisive approach could be taken to tackle this problem.

We ran this a race or two as a test. It backlashed ;-) As in, TS was set to force PTT. And sure it was more quiet. But people feld disconnected/discomforted. Even worse, there are those that just don't have left over buttons for a PTT/PTM button.

From my side, I don't have a PTT/PTM button. I used to have one, on my microphone (Move up to mute). But I am now using a Rift, which does not really have that option. Worse, I sure have a lot of buttons on my wheel, but I need all of them for racing itself. Esp. now with the Rift. I can't easily find a keyboard button to do a quick mute or even use PTT.

I'll happily add a PTM button once I ever get an easy to use external button box, but bla bla money bla bla.

I just want to add, if you guys don't have a PTT button for $reasons, it could be a good idea to tweak the trigger volume of the mic. In the heat of the race, while concentrating there was some heavy breathing from time to time. < Not complaining, just observation :)

Recently, I mapped two of the most accessible buttons on the wheel for looking left and right (no GPU for VR). And I must say, I'm starting to understand guys with VR headsets, why you don't want a PTT.

@Ashnoom, you say you have all the buttons on your wheel mapped. Can I ask what are you using there? Just out of curiosity.
I have on my wheel: look L/R, lights, wipers, PTT, pit limiter, "menu" and I think one btn free.

mouse button?

you can also double up the uses of buttons, for instance I had a button mapped in PC2 for looking back and in TS (and Discord) it was PTT. Just meant that I looked back each time I said something.

This has been mentioned multiple times, and it always gets the same response.

Push2Talk can't become a mandatory thing due to many people still use a G25, which has 2 buttons on the wheel it self, and they are mainly used for more important functions. I for one have 1 working button on my G25. Also reaching for a Keyboard isn't an option for some who are in VR.

Look back, KERS, DRS, Motec display cycle, reset rift center, start engine, (sadly) change view. Because pCars will throw me in a different view between sessions. Some buttons are hardwired to menu buttons, which is also a PITA (anything with the A/B X/Y buttons).

I used to have my start engine button mapped to also mute TeamSpeak. But everytime. Every damn time, I remove my wheel from my PC teamspeak forgets the bindings. (read, removes)
