Hi All

I'm Morne I,m 29 and my nickname is usually Cartman_sp69.
I live in South Africa i'm a passionate gamer, the games i play in the racing Genre is Iracing and now started with Project cars 2 (for a week now so still have to practice a bit before joining an introduction race).
This is my first time joining RSR, and the reason for joining is i'm looking for a friendly community to have a good time racing. My time is however limited as i have other responsibilities as a lot of us do.

I'm looking forward to having fun and happy racing:).

Regards

I hate trying to do this! I'm way better with my cars and guitars, but I'll try. So here goes...

Hi,
I'm from Florida, USA. Don't let the Easter time zone fool you though, I have severe insomnia and can be found racing just about anytime. I play Pcars1 & 2, AC, Raceroom (i think that's R3e), F1 season whatever, and sometimes hit Forza or NFS just for kicks.
My personal fav class right now is GT4 with a little GTE thrown in for good measure. To be honest, I'm bored of AI that can't adjust to using an unconventional race line, so I decided I would try online racing.

Looking forward to racing some of you, hopefully beating some of you, and loosing to a lot of you. So here's to fast cars, clean races, and good times.

Cheers, Bunta

Well hello there

I am Baz from warm and tropical Scotland. I am new to PC gaming but not new to sim racing having had an Xbox since they started making them lol.

Please forgive me if I ask a lot of questions but I am not technically minded and find the transition from console to PC slightly daunting when I hear words like "water coolers", "overclocking", "frames per second", "aliasing" etc

I am a clean racer but probably like many others I will make mistakes. I am not mechanically minded when it comes to tuning etc so I tend to put soft slicks on and go for it lol. My favourite class is GT3. I use the A1 playseat with thrustmaster tx 458 Italia, t3pa pedals, th8a shifter on a Sony 40" tv.

I work during the day but can be seen on project cars 3 or 4 evenings a week. I hope to make any friends on here as currently find online racing a hit or a miss with eeeeejits (a fine Scottish word there).

See you on track soon
Baz

Welcome to RSR Baz!

We are a friendly bunch here who are more than happy to help you out with any questions you have. We race hard but we are also happy to share advice and have fun. We don't do many races with the GT3s but with project cars 2 there are so many cars to choose we regularly have events running different cars.

We all make mistakes in our racing but with out the mistakes we cant learn, as long as you can follow our rules then you wont have a problem, Feel free to check out the Learn More section of the forum to familiarise yourself with the rules.

You will find a few of us on team speak through out the week(mostly evenings) practising for the next event or playing other games.

Our next induction session is on Tuesday night 19:30 UTC, if your planning on joining then please be on team speak 15 minutes before induction, someone will assign you a applicant badge to allow you to join out channels(Red wheel).

We hope you enjoy your time with us and look forward to racing with you! :)

Afternoon all - I'm ColinMac from Scotland. I signed up after a recommendation from SharkyOB - we used to race in Dirt Rally. I'm loving Project Cars 2, and was looking for a friendly place to come race!

I try and race clean - slow, but yep, clean - and having set up a race rig, I thought it might be fun to see if I can be competitive.

Hey James - thanks ! Sounds brilliant. I got home too late tonight to make the PC ready - I'll get in about Teamspeak tonight, as I've only really used Steam voice chat previously. Next week tho !

I want to apologize for being out of pocket more or less since I signed up. With travel for Thanksgiving, a week of illness after and now with the busier than expected month of December, I wasn't able to make either of the Induction events available.
Will there be new Induction events added soon?

Hey there everybody.

Long time racer, long time since I've been league racing too!
Been casually racing online since the release of PC on what I call my 'comeback!' However I did race online in leagues back in the early 2000's first with the EA games, probably when the first modifications first came out... even wrote a modification with a few friends once, although we never ended up finishing it!

Back then I raced with VMS (virtual motorsport) if anyone remembers it, was there right from the early days with a single figure membership number if I remember as was involved with the beta testing of the new site!

Now I Just feel old!!

Since the release of PC2 and my new wheel (thanks Fanatec!) I've decided to get a little more serious (and more fun :) ) from my sim racing, hence my application here.

Hoping to join some fellow clear racers, I'm not the quickest, but I do enjoy good clean racing and hoping to find my new 'virtual racing' home here on RSR!

Cheers for now peeps, and see you on track (hopefully!)
