Hello all... My name is J.P., I am from the winter wonderland of Flordia. I have been racing games since the early 90s with a big hickup in the middle with some surgeries for epilepsy. I just got back into the gaming world again in the past 3-6 months and I feel like a 12-year-old all over again. It puts all of the worries away when you sit behind the wheel and start turning laps. I look forward to joining some leagues and becoming more and more comfortable behind the wheel. Look forward to seeing all of you out on the track, don't yell too loud if I still miss a corner here and there.

Fast laps

Welcome to RSR @uptown8217

There is nothing better than winding down at the end of the day with some close hard racing. We are not worried about how fast members are, all we ask is you take care when racing and abide by our rules but most importantly you enjoy yourself. Whether you're one of the quick guys or one of the less experienced members, there is always someone to race with. We are a friendly community with members willing to help each other improve. As a community we have entries in multiple Rfactor and Iracing endurance championships but with our main focus on Project CARS 2. We are nearing the end of our winter break so racing will re-commence soon.

To be able to race with us you must complete our induction session, which is held every Tuesday night 19:30UTC. Please join us on TeamSpeak 10-15 minutes beforehand so you can make sure TeamSpeak is working correctly and if you wish, join us for a chat!
TeamSpeak details are in the welcome inbox you will have received (if you cannot find this, feel free to contact me and i can assist you further). When you join TeamSpeak for the first time you will be unable to move due to lack of permissions, but staff members (blue wheels) will be on hand to give you the permissions to do so - you can always "poke" us if we haven't spotted you first.

Look forward to seeing you on track soon :)

Hi - I'm Paul. I'm a racing newbie - I picked up Project Cars 2, got hooked, and went from gamepad to a G920 plus VR headset within about 2 months. I love the immersion, but more so I just love driving a track and trying to refine my laps. There's no better feeling than being right on the edge going through a tricky set of corners at a speed you've never thought possible.

I like to actually race too, but I'm finding public lobbies in PC2 brutal divebomb-fests. Trying to run a "clean" lap is nearly impossible as first corners are scrap yards, nudges from behind are considered "normal" and zig-zagging to defend your line repeatedly isn't seen as unsportsmanlike.

Hence I arrive here - hoping to maybe pickup the odd race where people treat a GT3 car like it actually cost them several hundred thousand :) I'm not sure how much time I have available - my work is pretty demanding of my time, but it seems you folks have "clean-casual" covered. I'd love to do a racing championship of some kind, but I've no idea if I could commit to enough season races to make it possible.

Hi @UnstopaPaul
Welcome to RSR, your right...we do have a clean casual look to us but underneath we are a hugely competitive community and participate in a variaty of events ranging from Iracing and Rfactor2 endurance to our main focus in Project cars 2.

Whether you're a casual racer with minimal experience or a seasoned racer looking to extend the experience, you will always fit in and find plenty of people to race with. We have members with all levels of experience and all are happy to help and give guidance, should it be needed.

All you need to do is join us for our Induction Session, which takes place every Tuesday night at 19:30UTC. Ideally we would like you on TeamSpeak (details in Inbox) 10 minutes beforehand, in case you have any issues. Feel free to join us for a chat once you have been given a "red wheel". I would also recommend reading through our rules in the "Learn More" section of our website.

Look forward to seeing you on track soon!

Ps feel free to message me if you have any questions

Andy, just hit the big 50, and love my sim racing.

Started out back on the TOCA series of games, and have since done RFactor, rFactor2, GRID, Race 07, and others I cant remember!
Most recently, Ive been on iRacing. Very new to Project Cars, what Ive seen so far has refreshed my interest in racing, as it had started to wain.

Using VR these days...its a far cry from those early days of a tiny monitor and non feedback wheel!

Lots of reading to do around your forum to learn how you do things, and what requirements are for entering leagues, as thats what Im hoping to do :)

Welcome Andy to RSR, Firstly congrats on the big 50!

We are a Project cars 2 community with teams featuring in Iracing and Rfactor2 endurance events.

We have an induction session each Tuesday night at 19:30UTC for new members to come along and show us what they've got.
Its not important to us how quick you are just that you are a safe, clean driver!

Feel free to come along tonight and we can get you through induction. I would advice reading up on our rules and requirements. but from what you've said you have likely already done that!

Please could you link your forum and team speak accounts, as this will assign you permissions on team speak automatically

Give me a shout if you get stuck with anything and look forward to seeing you in induction!

No problem! Ideally we like new members to be on team speak 10 minutes before induction just to ensure your all happy with everything and if not we can assist in answering your questions. If you cant make it for 19:30 then feel free to join in but we may not be able to promote you this week.

Good afternoon Tony, welcome to RSR!

Here at RSR you will find a friendly, happy community who enjoy highly competitive racing yet still have fun!

We are a project cars 2 based community with multi team entries in iracing and Rfactor2 championships.

As a new member you will need to get through our induction session before you can race with us. Induction takes place each Tuesday night at 19:30UTC. Ideally we would like you to be on 10 minutes before so should you have any issues we can assist you and allowing us to get started on time.
I would recommend you read through our rules in the “learn more” section of the forum to familiarise yourself with our rules and starting procedures. I would also request you link your team speak profile to your forum account as this will automatically give you permissions on teamspeak allowing you to move around. If You have any issues with this, just pop on teamspeak and 1 of the staff team will assign you permissions.

We look forward to seeing you at induction and racing with us soon! :)

Hi all, I'm Roger, will turn 50 this year but absolutely don't feel that old yet ;)

I've been a sim racing fan since the TOCA days with my Microsoft Sidewinder FFB wheel :shame:

Together with Andy Bonar, Andy Moore and Tony Matthews who also just joined this community I've done RFactor, rFactor2, GRID, Race 07 and finally Iracing for the last 2 years. Andy B got me interested in PC2, we lost our fun in driving a bit because of the limited tracks and cars in the game and the cost involved. Although I'm sure Iracing is very happy with me :vamp:

From a single screen to 3 and now the Oculus, and a T500 as my weapon of choice

I'll read my way through the rules, forums and stuff to get a bit familiar with how it works here.

Hopefully I will have time to do the induction next Tuesday, I like to get started ;)

See you on the track!

Hey guys!

I'm iceman from Germany and like racing (obviously :p - and no - I don't like Raikönnen) A few years ago I started to do competitive races in GTA 5. Was a good fun, but moving over to SimRacing was not a bad choice either. Cardshark (on Twitch - GosuNoob on steam) told me about this community and the events you're doing here seem to be lots of fun. I'm looking forward to join the Induction soon! :)

Hello everyone,

I am ovivoJR, a 26 year old streamer, racer and gamer from the northern part of Germany. My friend fab.ICEMAN made me aware of your community. We are both passionate about racing and come from a crew called NochalantDominance. This is a crew that in the past has mainly done GTA Racing. We joined the crew about 3 years ago and have now moved on into SimRacing. I for my part have started with it a bit later than Iceman, so I am still learing things every day. To make the next step we want to join your community to find other likelyminded drivers.
I hope to take part in tonights "inductions session" if possible. Till then have a good Tuesday and see you on track.

Cheers, ovivoJR
