Guess I should do this too...
I'm Martin, 26, currently living in Brno, Czech rep, doing Linux IT stuff.

Started racing in Gran Turismo 2. Since than, I never done anything more serious (no time, no gear...) Lately, I've done a few hours on Assetto Corsa and even less on PCars1, but pretty much only SP with Logitech Momo wheel. While looking forward for Project Cars 2, I've upgraded to T300+T3PA+TH8A. Got issues with my OSVR headset, so I'm using small 144hz monitor and keep missing apexes, since I don't see them due to A pillars :D Need to so some more upgrades I guess.

In RL, I was until recently driving Toyota MR2 mk.3. Really love lightweight, rear-wheel drive cars, also, it is nice to beat all MX-5's there. It's useless for longer drive though, so I got an Accord 2.4 type-S and absolutely love it. If I had a garage, some money and time, I would probably get a RX-8, since I love everything about it and there is a good rotary guy nearby. But anyway, I plan to move from this stupid country, so no garage for me just yet :(

I discovered RSR only recently and started this Tuesday. So far I'm really impressed, this is exactly what I was looking for. :)
My next quest is to associate the voices from team-speak to usernames :D
Talking about usernames, apologies about my shitty one. It's a weird nickname I have since 8. Can't really change all the account for some better one at this moment :( Anyway, it's pronounced something like huykis, not 'huge kiss'. Friends call me Hoja [hoya]. Overshare...
Hope I will be able to somehow fit into this amazing community! See you on the track.

Oh and thanks @jamesl91 for all the help :)

Old man exclusively races in VR, likes fair racing, not bothered if racing at the front, middle or for last place as long as its a good fair fight.
Any class (Except FA) any track, any weather. Not into the engineer side of the game (Have no patience with setting up) so usually race with stock set up therefore I'm usually around mid pack if I don't get torpedoed.
If you see me out there try not to scratch my car.
Regards, =EV=

Welcome to RSR EV3RY,

We have all found our way here for the same reason, to avoid racing in the public lobby's. RSR is not focused on the pace of our members but how clean and fair they are for this reason we hold an induction session every Tuesday night 18:30UTC which allows the induction team to look at driving ability. We hold many events each month with a wide variety of Cars,Tracks and time/weather conditions. We have a large group of members who take part in endurance racing on Iracing and Rfactor.

We are a very friendly bunch who are always around to assist you with setups or advice or if you wish to play any other games we are here for that too.

It is recommended you read through our rules and driving standards before taking part in induction as this will familiarise you with everything: https://revolutionsimracing.com/pages/driving-standards/

Look forward to seeing you on track soon!

PS if u have any questions or issues please just shout and someone will hear you!

From this day forth you will be known as Huge Kiss! Jokes, welcome to RSR. Look forward to seeing you on track! My voice is easy to remember because it’s the only Australian one.

F1 fan since 1974, started SIM racing this year...fighting 20 year olds with 10 or more years of experience...
My Experience: 228 hrs in PCARS1, 24 hrs in PCARS2

Username: The Breeze
Real Name: Frank Steven Groen (Groen = Green in Dutch)
Country of Residence: The Netherlands
Date of Birth: June 19, 1966
Occupation: Data Centre Floor Manager
Daily Drive: Renault Megane 1.4 Tce GT-Line

Favourite Car(s): RL: Porsche 911, Lancia Stratos HF, Renault Alpine A110, Ferrari Dino 246, Classic Mini Cooper, Jaguar E-Type, Corvette Stingray, and loads more I would buy if I were a millionaire. In-game, any Porsche.. although I’m a bit disappointed about the GT3… still trying to get a good setup.
Favourite Track: Spa Francorchamps
Favourite RSR Memory: About to come
Favourite RSR Admin: FlyingKman, for his excellent support…and for having me promoted
Favourite Food: About almost anything

Favourite Drink: Belgian beers! Leffe Blond, Trappistes Rochefort 6, 8, 10, Chimay Bleu
Favourite Artist: Difficult one, too many options
Favourite Film: The Big Lebowski

Hobbies Outside of Racing: Music, music & music, all genres as long as it is great music… no definition of what great is…just a feeling. My music related web site, which was pretty successful with 15.000 visitors a month…until Google killed it… Looking for a new hobby, maybe a web site for Dutch SIM racers…or something for guys my age who refuse to grow up and don’t want to become part of a generation that doesn’t know what’s going on.

How many languages do you speak? Dutch, English & German (last one needs some speech practice)
What is your dream holiday destination? Too many options..Corsica, Iceland, New-Zealand and a sunny Norway
If you were a fish, what kind of fish would you be? A hammerhead shark, I like the design and the head makes me think of a ‘70’s F1 car front wing.
How did you get your username? My wife once asked me, ‘If you have to bring your music collection (which is huge) back to 1 tune, what would that be?’ Without hesitation I answered ‘Call me The Breeze’ by J.J. Cale.
I do like all kinds of music, classical, country, rock, pop, jazz, hip-hop, folk, etnic, electronic, et cetera… but this tune really feels like me, and it sounds great while driving my car on an endless road.

They call me the breeze,
I keep blowing down the road
They call me the breeze,
I keep blowing down the road
I ain't got me nobody,
I ain't carrying me no load

Ain't no change in the weather,
Ain't no change in me
Ain't no change in the weather,
Ain't no change in me

I ain't hidin' from nobody,
Ain't nobody hidin' from me
I got that green light, babe,
I got to keep moving on
I got that green light, babe,
I got to keep moving on

I might go out to California,
Might go down to Georgia,
Might stay home

Hi there !
My name's Corentin, i'm from France, 20 years old. I'm currently student in an engineering Highschool.

I've been following RSR's activities for 6 months. I was very interested in joining a serious lobby but sadly i've had a few problems. I had no microphone, then when i had one my pedals broke (basic pedals that comes with the t300rs....^^) and i had no money to buy a new set (i wanted the t3pa pro). Now i have it all, so i'll join you on teamspeak next week !

I came to sim racing recently (early 2017) after watching some youtube videos that really gave me the desire to play. I've mostly played car games since i'm a kid. I begun on my father's knees with GP3 on the windows98 computer with a brand new ffb wheel from microsoft. I've played rally games (colin mcrae 2.0, 3, 2005) and i've also spent a lot of times on toca race driver 3, where i've learnt a lot of tracks.
I missed it a bit, so here i am, ready to race ! I find in project cars 2 what i missed in pcars 1, weather conditions and Livetrack 3.0 is in my opinion just amazing, manual pit stop.... I'm just disappointed by the level in the public lobby.

Looking forward to join you in game,
Cheers

Ahah yes of course i know it already. I wasn't here last week for the induction night, this time i'll be there for sure ^^. I have one question though. Are rsr members making races out of the "official" races with the same standards ? I'm ready to race the whole week with serious guys.

Hello

My name is Corné (Cornworld), 47 from the Netherlands. Played games on the PS4 for a lot off years and recently moved over to PC to get the most out of playing sim racing games. Heard about RsR from a mate who I raced with on Project Cars 1.

I use a setup with a Fanatec CSL Elite PC/PS4, CSW V3 pedals and shifter all mounted on to a Playseat Revolution. I like PC1&2, Assetto Corsa and trying to decide to get involved in either Rfactor or iRacing.

Hoping to find some good leagues on here with clean and fair racing.

See you, Corné

Greetings,

Im Daniel, currently 21 years old from Germany and just recently got into sim racing playing mostly PC1 and assetto before so i got alot to learn. Trashed my old Wheel for a CSL Elite Setup and got no regrets what so ever!
I stumbled across RSR while searching for a community to do clean races, joined the Induction yesterday and had a blast driving with you guys :D

Hope I can join you in the Revolution Cup!

o7, Nef.

btw -> Feel free to add me on Steam :)
