@reerdo

That is nice to hear. Guess we meet next Tuesday.

@jamesl91

Already went through everything you sent me. Really liked what I saw. Really nice setup here.

Hope I am not getting to nervous on Tuesday though. Don't want to kick someone off cause of sweaty hands. :D
But seriously, glad to found the door to RSR.
Yes we will meet next Tuesday, try and be on 10-15minutes before induction starts so you have time to get teamspeak setup and you can join us for a quick chat before we get going.

Don’t worry about being nervous, we all were once. The main thing is not to be overly aggressive and just drive normally, you won’t be judged on pure speed as this is something RSR isn’t looking for, we are about having fun and good driving.
We are all here to help so if you need help with setups or driving techniques or race craft we can help guide you. You will become quicker the more you race!

Hey everyone!
I'm Raphael, living in Germany and was a WMD member since pcars1 developement. Some of you chaps propably already know
me from there. I've almost no experience in league racing and my whole experience is due to GTR2 and rFactor1 online races some years ago (maybe some of you know Pilsbierbude) and WMD pcars testing sessions but I'm doing my best to keep up with your standards in every regards :)

I'm really looking forward racing with you all and I'm trying to be there on next tuesday when the next induction event is happening :playful:

Cheers everyone!

Sorry for the 'thick' question but in your 'Learn More' guides it say the follow:

"If you can, please use push to talk as to avoid unwanted broadcasting"

Is this a setting in TeamSpeak? Or in game? As I am struggling to find any thing though I am sure I am just being blind :)

Hello fellow sim racers! My name is Jon, or Cheesemon usually in the PC world. I play all kinds of video games, from every mainstream Call of Duty to classic hunting games like Big Game Hunter III or Deer Hunter 5. But racing games and IRL have always had a special spot in my heart. My parents would tell me later on in life that I would often beat kids much older than me in a multitude of arcade racers like Crusin' USA or Daytona USA. Haha I would always somehow be the only person at the arcade that day to know how to take the final corner of the Beginner Course in Daytona USA 1 & 2.

I live in Michigan and have been to Michigan International Speedway many times! My uncle was the head track engineer for many years and even came up with the idea of using jet powered track dryers that NASCAR uses to this day! I also have met the 2016 Indycar champion Simon Pagenaud a couple of times when my father worked at Hewlett-Packard Ent.

I still love playing older arcade racers on my PC via emulators. I actually just played Daytona USA 2 on Supermodel 3 and Ferrari F355 Challenge on Demul. I was a huge fan of Papyrus NASCAR Racing 2003 Season and still am to this day! I love all motorsports and usually excel in-game at all of them BUT drifting. I am terrible at drifting and just don't race in drift races anymore.

Anyway that's a brief intro to myself and racing. Thanks for reading and I am super happy to be apart of Revolution Sim Racing!

Hi everyone!

I'm Tiago, 32, I work in IT, I'm Portuguese, but I work and live in London, UK for the last year and a half.

If you have been playing PCars 2 since release you might have seen my lobbies, mainly for the TC class named something like 'Safety Rank up' although i admit that despite my good intentions the results of this intent have been mixed for everyone joining as not everyone follows the same safety standards.

Nevertheless, i have always enjoyed competitive racing and i have already participated in some events organized by a Portuguese portal (that since shifted their attention to AC) in Pcars 1 so i am looking forward to race with this community. I have already briefly introduced myself to the 'Learn More' section and since i am not able to attend tomorrow's induction, i will try to do so next Tuesday. I will have plenty of time to finish reading the Lear More section before getting into action.

I praise myself to always have safety and fairness as my standards in racing and i hope you guys will agree with me on that.

Feel free to enquire me on anything else. Cheers, and i'll see you guys on track!

Hey @drukqs, welcome to RSR! The learn more section might have a couple of things out of date from the old game, but we're working on updating it - the general jist of 'Don't be that guy' applies though. ;)

Are you an Aphex Twin fan by any chance?

Hi All!

I'm Arron, from the Midlands so you'll all have to deal with my slightly brummie accent. :)
I got into sim racing properly with Project Cars 1, so haven't really been doing it too long, however I'm now at the stage where i would like some more organised clean racing, which is how I found you guys.

I'm hoping i can make it to the induction tonight to say hello and take some last place trophies!
