I made my licence now! First of all thanks to everyone who helped me so far.

I made my first laps for the Daytona 24h race and found a good setup and I'm able to do 1:45:0 at night with a full tank after some laps. But now there are some questions:

which setup were you guys using at the last Daytona race? I'm not so familiar with iracing setups, so every help is welcome
how can I turn on the fuel calculator or better fuel info, the map and the two relative standings that I can see at @t0daY video from the last Daytona race? I found the keyboard shortcut site from iracing and I googled the net, but there is nothing about that.

@Vernux, @Soulah, C. Tscharf and myself are very pleased to drive under the banner of RSR. We all agreed, that we will not share anything. Can someone help us with the livery? [EDIT] I found the livery site

Times heavily depend on time of day, temperature and the car (I assume GTE?). There are setups in setupsync for the Ferrari GTE which we used last season for IMSA.
The fuel calculator and relativebox etc are from http://ir-apps.kutu.ru/ Which are second screen / streaming applications

No, i'm testing the Mercedes GT3 and the Audi and I'm using the setups from RSR.
We haven't decided yet, which car/class we wanna drive. Sorry for that question: is the car/class choice up to us?

Car / class is up to you and your teammates.
I do have 2 mercedes setups that I can put on setupsync / personally send you which I used last season at Daytona.

If you want I can help with a custom livery for Daytona 24

They are driving under the RSR banner. Once I am back we need to sort out all liveries

Well, i've got the green light from the missus so I can move the rig from the cold annex to the dining room and move the computer desk of eldest son, just finished 4 years at university, digital artist, into the annex. You can wear them down eventually

. Happy Days! It will make it easier for me to get in/out and I can now plan to develop the rig and storage of hardware as I will be able to access all around the rig and the PC.

Now you still need to get the green light of the missues to not go on vacation during endurance events

Good to know you won't be too cold during racing in the annex

Was just reading about this myself and looks like it's just a way of practicing tracks, with other cars, without risk to your license rating. What they really should do is release it as a standalone, low-cost, product and use that as the 'gateway drug' to the online subscription. Since it's only a small team working on it, no doubt their costs have been quite low, so they wouldn't need to sell that many copies to recoup the costs, especially given that they'll no doubt get some of those people hooked into the subscription service as a result. Of course, the licensing deals they've struck might not allow for that to happen but I honestly think they would be mad not to explore it as an option.
