Hey Ant, welcome to RSR. Good thing about this community is you're welcome to hop in and hop out of sessions as you please, there's no restrictions on that part and there's no rules about inactivity, so you're welcome to just take part as you feel fit to do so. We also do not care about your race pace, you could be the fastest or slowest and you would still be welcome - we only care that you race cleanly and fairly.

As you're new to the site your status a member is set to 'Applicant', as you'll see under the name on the forums, before you're able to take part in any ranked or league events, you'll need to attend an induction session, usually held on Tuesdays at 18:30 UTC, more information can be found here: https://revolutionsimracing.com/threads/induction-18-30-utc.871/

And yes, sim racing can become quite addictive, especially once you've found a good community to race amongst. You're also welcome to join our Teamspeak at any point (RevolutionSimRacing.com), you may see members online (usually in the evenings), so feel free to drop in, say hello and ask questions if you need to, you'd be hard pressed to find a community less helpful than RSR.

Anyway, glad to have you here, hope to see you in TS and on track soon. :)

Hello! I'm a college student in Pennsylvania, USA. I've been racing for a bit now and want to be more competitive and organized. I'm tired of getting into races where people crash into me because they don't know how to brake or follow common rules. I currently use a Logitech g29 with the H-Shifter. I will be on most days and am willing to play other classes besides GT3 (though I like that one too).

Hello, I'm Alleric. I'm 19 years old and from South Africa. Been a racing fan since I was a little child and have been lucky enough to go to some races including F1, Rallies and Open Endurance Leagues.

Since getting into racing costs a lot of money, I got into sim racing. It really grew my passion for racing even more and I take my simracing very seriously. Even made start working out and using techniques tought by real life mentors. YES, I might be a bit crazy:D, but I lovr what I do.

I've been playing sims since I was around 7. That is when my dad introduced me to Gran Turismo and got us a wheel. He is the one that actually got me into all of this as we both had a very big passion for racing and loved sharing. Sadly I lost my father a while back and I'm ever so grateful to still have simracing as a thing to remember him.

I played Gran Turismo for a few years, but luckily got myself a PC with PCars1 not that long ago. I have raced with AOR all these years and even did some events that included RSR. I'm very excited to maybr get a spot here and even make so good friends.... specially ones that are gods at making setups;)

My favorite class is GT3 (im a simracing normie), but also love my prototypes and open wheelers. Slower things like GT5,GT4 isnt really my thing, but I'll do it now and then.

Sadly I haven't been that active lately due to PC problems and wheel acting up, but I'll try my best to get my stuff sorted out soon. I'm a rushed person and like to have things going the way its supposed to. Also a good thing for racing as I like to plan my pits etc...

I've been in the eSports scene for a couple of years now starting with FPS titles, but Simracing really looks like the place for me tbh. So I hope I'll be able to improve my driving skills here and learn some new things.

Sorry for the long post:)

Glad to be here! What's the margin time if someone is late? Do the events start at exactly 18:30?

You're expected to be at an event at the start date, but depending what it is you can join late. An induction, for example, you can join late, though depending on how late you might be expected to attend more than one. Sometimes events run a little late (10-15mins), but generally on time. Wouldn't worry too much if your late, but if possible, just leave a comment with a heads up that you'll be running late.

Hello!
I'm a 18 year old student from the Netherland which got really into Sim racing after I bought a Logitec G25 (peddels included) from a friend of mine. I usually play Project cars 2, Dirt Rally and Assetto Corsa. I'm really into PC2 at the moment because I really like the way the cars behave.
I found you guys from a relatively small but fun to watch YouTuber, Jardier
Would really like to join a race sometime!

Welcome to RSR!

We welcome all new members regardless of speed or experience, all we ask is that you attend our induction sessions where we ask you race us as you would normally race. We use induction as a way of keeping our safe and clean standards as high as possible. Should you be successful in making it through the induction process you will be welcome to start signing up for events and joining us. Induction sessions take place on Tuesday nights 18:30UTC, induction normally consists of 3 short races with a variety of cars and tracks(not the standard combinations). Feel free to join us on teamspeak before, your welcome to join members before heading to the induction room.

Look forward to seeing you on track soon! :)

Hey!

I'm 33 years old from Newcastle, UK. I got into Sim racing before Xmas last year after a friend let me run some laps at a dinner party which ended up being a drunken hot lap challenge! i think he had a g27 and we were racing GT3's round Spa on iRacing, i was hooked!!. 1 week later i bought a T150 pro with a gt omega wheel stand and never been off it!

I've always been a fan of Motorsports, recently started watching British GT with the hope of convincing the wife to go with me ot a race. My all time favourite game is F1 97, now i tend to play a mix of iRacing, Assetto, pCars and AMS.

Hoping to join you's most races and learn a thing or two!
