RSR International Cup - Season 1 - Time Trial (1 Viewer)

We would kindly ask that all participants put a reasonable amount of effort into your times so that we get laps that are representative of your speed in these cars. The lobby splits will be based on these results and it is unfair on your fellow drivers if you are not in a lobby that represents your ability.

Remember, you must have signed up to our leagues in the sign-up thread before taking part in the time trial event - please do NOT set a time prior to signing up.

The initial deadline will be 23:00 UTC, Friday, 13th January 2017. Any times uploaded and posted after this deadline will NOT be counted, so please keep an eye on the time if you are late setting a lap. The admin team will then allocate drivers to their appropriate tier.

Important Notes :
1. You must complete your times in Time Trial mode, not free practice.
2. Please ensure that you have Assists set to 'None' in the game options before setting a time. The real car has no ABS, TC or SC but, since the time-trial leaderboard does not accurately reflect the assists used, when set to 'Real', we must insist that you disable all assists to ensure a realistic and fair competition.

We changed the track to Oulton Park Fosters because Ruapuna Park is a DLC track not everyone has (thanks for the information @jonnotheone, was our mistake apology to that )

It isn't explicity stated in the event info but I would also suggest that the time trial event follows the standard RSR rules for racing, whereby 2 wheels MUST remain in contact with the circuit at all times. It is very easy to run wide at Oulton Park - especially out of turn 1, without your lap being invalidated by the game.

I know my times are not as good as many racers out there. I struggled to control the car without any aid. I had SC switched ON for time trial. I'm a GT3 driver in pCars. So, the BAC was new to me. But i'm practicing.

There are lots more to learn about driving, racing, basic etiquette among drivers. I want to join RSR because I can't learn these in public servers

I strongly recommend you practice without SC, TC or ABS since you can not use them in the race and will probably struggle even more because you are not prepared for it.

I repeat: It will be impossible for you to use any driving aids in the race.

Love Oulton Park! Very bumpy which makes it a bit of a challenge for the Mono, and keeping the power down. Put some laps in tonight, got to low 58s. If I can get anywhere near 57.5, I think I'll be happy. Terrifies me to think that that's still a second and a half off the current top slot - some of you are scarily good at this!

It is a common bug in the leaderboard 2scoops... Nothing we can do about it :/

I trust everyone to be honest when he is posting his laptime here. Otherwise he is just cheating his own.

If you drove the time without any assists there is no need to re-do your lap
