I will probably stick with my trusty Ligier

The Marek can set more weight to the front axis making the temps of front left and rear left more event than the Ligier. For save riding the curbs I guess it also needs some ride height like the Ligier what slows both down. The Ligier is still quicker in the first laps imo but as the tire temps go too high in the Ligier the Marek becomes quicker and caches up, because of the more even temps. I also guess the Marek needs the same number of pit stops as the Ligier.

Road America is a nightmare for the pcars2 tire heating model. The carousel alone destroys the FL and RL within a few laps. And how quick the laptimes are can be adjusted by the ride height, together with the risk of spinning out on a kerb and be launched into a wall. This combo is pure gamble. A consistent line aka "just don't hit the kerbs" is also not possible because of the tire heat introducing and shuffling between understeer and oversteer from corner to corner.
It's so annoying that pcars2 tire nearly always overheat, because there is so little one can do on a track with a long fast corner to bring tire temps down, unlike if they were too cold there would be a dozen setup tweaks I could try to push it up.

After a few longruns tests I know why this track is so rarely used.

Will have to withdraw once more... planned to have practice yesterday and learn the track from scratch..... but some Windows 1083 update ruined that for me. Very much like the track but one hour of practice just isn't enough unfortunately.
