Would love to give this a go as a trial for the 10h but alas I can’t see myself getting B license by then after a bad run of getting wiped out by other people during the IMSA races at Watkins Glen :( For future events like this, do I need to be signed up to a series or anything or do we just enter a team car for each event?

These events are like a regular race, just as a team. The qually and registration is right before race, so no need to sign up early for that.
I will not drive Road America, but for sure the next one at Daytona.
