One of the guys I race with sent me a link to a telemetry app you guys might find interesting, although I haven't tried it yet he said it was pretty good. I will add it to the resource section.

Project rF2
Project rF2 is a software created for ISI's rFactor2 game so that a driver can transmit realtime telemetry data of the car to an other pc over internet or local network, even if the final user has not installed the game.

Ah yeah, me and Steve tried to get this to work last week. Maybe a firewall or port was blocking it, but we couldn't get the remote telemetry to work.

Hey guys, I keep popping in to see what your all up to and it looks like the rf2 stuff is going from strength to strength.

I hope you don't mind but I have a question, how are you finding the SRC experience so far, with regard to the VEC and VLMS leagues? I still don't think I will have the time or commitment to get in on that, but its almost 1 year for you guys now, so how is it? Is it worth the time and effort? Do you still have time to do other races when the seasons are running? Are you finding that your able to be competitive?

actually the effort isn't that much, we always had about 5-10 hours of pracitce prior to the race and we were always capable of running top 10 or even top 5 pace wise and this although there is a quite a skill gap in VLMS as there are no splits or divisions like in VEC. The only thing is sometimes there decisions about rules are a bit questionable but other than that they provide a nice racing environment.

although having quite a lot of stuff to do for university i was always able to do other races in iRacing or pCars2 beside my VLMS commitment.

Well, installed and tried.
Still got to adjust FFB, graphical settings, mods, etc. But so far the few laps I did felt pretty good

I've been an absolute baboon. I was having understeer issues, literally everywhere so I assumed baselines were bad.
During the practice session it was kind-off solved but the understeer was still bad so I assumed I was still bad at rF2.
Today I joked about with a friend and I noticed that my wheel, dispite being set to car-specific on Rf2 ,the software was still running 900

Changed it now and I was instantly quicker around Silverstone in LMP2

Laserscan quality is really good though, its super bumpy and nicely done

But tbh 6 would have been better

And atm it eats RAM like crazy. GTX 970 on high is too weak -.-
