I'm pulling out of the event. After some practice ... I'll just be honest, that tire is bad to drive and makes the combo an aero-damage gamble that is simply no fun to drive after the first lap.

Well, you're one step closer - I am pulling out as well =). In my experience Monaco is just never a good choice. It's a frustrating track to TT on and it's an absolute nightmare to race on. Having put in a bit of time testing the combination, this is a recipe for carnage. The car is far too skittish, even with maximum DF, for a track as tight and tricky as Monaco. Just making 1 lap without tapping any walls is difficult. If I survive the first lap, you can be sure I will ding it against the walls on the next lap or the one after that. Keeping the car off the walls consistently for the duration of a whole race while under pressure... that's not going to happen; so I'm tapping out preemptively so as to avoid being a rolling caution waiting to happen.

Good luck to all involved! Looking forward to hearing the screams and watching the sheared limbs fly around in the inevitable replay =D

Can't believe so many people are dropping out... I'm looking forward to this one.

Been struggling with the tyres but after pinching @miagi's TT setup (thanks dude

) I seem to be much more consistent and able to keep it away from those pesky walls!! I'm still 1/2 seconds off what Cluck has done in TT but I'll be aiming for a clean race which will hopefully edge me up the order as other people have incidents.

EDIT: I'm using the slicks, I've seen others using the sport tyre but it's so unpredictably savage that it's not worth the guaranteed damage when you clout one of the barriers.
