Sorry guys going to have to pull out of this one.

Not had any time to prep for it, had a manic week at work.

Plus wanting for focus on S4 instead

Have to pull out of this event too. Still tired from yesterdays 6h race and was out partying too much after it which makes racing today a bit iffy.

Pulling out myself. Used up all my practice time for this on rfactor. I'll do my best for the next one :)

Sorry I have to pull out, I am still getting random frame drops on my pc and loose control for 2-5 sec. I have no clue why my pc is doing this and it is going to be too dangerous to be on the track.

Are you expecting another last minute pull out?
Nope, just saying that I'll score for PRD since they have less people :D

Major screw-up unfortunately by myself... was fine-tuning my fuel strategy to get the maximum out of it.. so calcaluting just how much less fuel I would need to tank on the straights.. as I veered off onto the grass and lost the car.. 76 suspension 29 aero damage and ofcourse an extra pitstop. Would have loved the continue the battle around 3rd place, as I think it was very tight on pace there.

I started from 8th as I had a nightmare of a Quali and was chasing you for at least 30 minutes, only that when I was ~5s away, you crashed on the straight... How could do do that to me Col_McCoy!!! How could you take the satisfaction from me passing you on track :/

;)

Had a pretty good preparation but was placed in Split 2. Had a very good Quali lap, 1:29.063. Then came the race and I had almost a flawless race with a bit more pace than the rest. It was a very lonely race and finished P1 1:20 in front of P2 and as well with a fastest lap of 1:30.0. In the last few laps I had @CatchAGlimpse and Sebastian battling for P3 in front of me, decided to back down and let them have the fight for the podium since I didn't want to screw it up with unnecessary lapping. Looking forward to the next one!

I had a great opportunity for a podium after qualifying 3rd but the first pit my pit crew didn't change my tires like I wanted so my second stint was cut way short. I had to pit again and luckily the crew did change the tires. I tried a bit of fuel saving to get to the end but it wasn't enough and I had to pit a third time. Upsetting when the game decides to not follow your strategy but I guess that's racing and shit happens. I was hoping to battle for the podium. Looking forward to the next one.

Was a good race for me. Incident free for most of the race, my race was mostly in the 1 min 42 seconds in the Lamborghini (kept it nice and steady throughout the race (The dude on the pit wall getting frustrated - you are consistent, but we need alittle more!! ;))!! Started to struggle with concentration with 20 minutes remaining and lost some of the trust and confidence in the car as the backend started to become a little twitchy. 2 spins, 2 walls hit and twice suspension damaged. 2 additional pit stops. I had a nice fight with Reapper(ZA) very much enjoyable but the last few laps I was under pressure from one of the PRD guys who eventually passed me after 4-5 laps of intense defending!! At the end I did not have enough juice and I spun out to hit the wall the second time. Tough race and good experience, but enjoyable!!

Oh that was a really nice race. I remember three incidents: one at the start where I pushed the black LMP2 on P6 into a half spin, and one where I misunderstood the blue Porsche at the entrance to the chicane thinking he was giving room but then closing in on the apex where I already was, so that he hit my car in the front and spun out - sorry for these two. The third was self-made loosing the car at the end of the 100R and hitting the outer wall down to the hairpin softly, but enough to spin, on my way back to the track.
However, the race itself as well as the lapping was mostly great and in some places risky, but we aren't at the kindergarden :) I did mostly 1:32.x through the course of the race with traffic, and had some intense racing with the other LMP's during the whole race. My strategy with 45, 30, 45 min stint was good, changeing tires only at the second stop. The car was in good shape with almost no damage and I had chosen a softer setup so I was really confident with it in all situations.
I got really sweaty during the last quarter hour as @CatchAGlimpse came with sevenleague boots and I risked everything to get this third place and keep him 1-2 sec behind. In the end it gladly payed of.

The LMP2 are really fun (I drove the Judd), and I'm looking forward to the next one.

EDIT: funny sidenote: I forget that around 20 minutes before the end my TV set threatened to shut down if I don't press any button. So Kudos to my girlfriend to follow my shouts and press a button of the remote (which of course wasn't anywhere near my range) and press a button. After the race I turned off that function :)

@kaleeb42 I had a similar issue dude, had no pit crew come out so had to re-enter the pits again losing me around 20-30 seconds.

The race itself was so much fun - qualified 2nd, maintained 2nd at the start edging away from @kaleeb42 with each lap until the 1st round of stops. Pit stop screwed me, down to 6th. Managed to get back up to 4th by the next round of stops and somehow managed to gain 10 seconds over @IJerichoI in 3rd. The best part of my race then followed when hunting down and battling @IJerichoI, I really had the bit between my teeth after the pit incident and had to really push for the podium places - we were lapping within 0.1/0.2 of each other per lap. Unfortunately an incident with one of the GT3s about 3/4 laps towards the end put me in half a spin killing my podium chance, but great racing all in split 2!

So..... Yeah....

With around 50 minutes left, my wheel decided it was too hot. When it does that, the centering sensor goes crazy, and moves the center point on the wheel. In my case, it was moving it about 5 degrees to the right every 2-3 laps. So for about the last 15 minutes, this was how I was driving.

Was interesting trying to figure out just how much I need to turn to the left, to make the turns in sector 3, and the turn 2 kink haha.

Have a look here. I had problem with my g27's encoder and replaced it with the brass one. Since then it works like a charm

Btw. the ICM - in car menu or what it's called (icmowic) is plain horrible. It looks, feels and works like a pre-alpha developer menu. When I think about being forced to switch strategies from slicks to wet tires mid-race ... terrifying.

However, Fuji was fun, the LMP2 is fun, the game didn't mess up my Pit Stop like in Daytona and P2 is the best I could do.
