Thankyou @Nighttiger for a great event. Had a great race 1 finishing 4th. At the start of race 2, someone ploughed into the side of me and caused 11 damage rear and 4 front, they didn't apologise. Dropped to the rear of the field, but managed to fight my way back up to 10th by the finish.

@Nighttiger Thanks a lot for organization! What a great event.

I didn't know I won't be able to choose stable setup, so all my practice laps were done on stable, only to find out we're all gonna be racing on loose.
After three spins in first race, I realised I can turn on the traction control. With newly found enthusiasm, I decided to test the freshly engaged TC by shifting down to 1st in the 1st corner. - Four spins in this race :)

In second race, I had front aero damage from lap1, getting caught in one of the accidents. Nothing serious.
Driving in mid-field, one guy, driving behind me, managed to crash into me three times in ~three laps. :D

Anyway, finished somewhere in the middle, with 13 and 10 aero damage (car was still pretty much ok). Having not caught even of glimpse of the alien cars in the front. Good stuff @Puffpirat !

BTW, does anybody know if there is a way to watch the replay files outside the game? How are you guys uploading this stuff on youtube?

In case this was the last race of this year for me, I wish you all happy holidays and a new year.
M.

The only current way to replay the races is to do it in-game record what you want then stitch it together using software like Sony vagas.

First and foremost I want to thank everybody for joining this race, it was a blast and I hope you all enjoyed it. I know I did! Without further ado, congratulations to @Puffpirat for taking P1 in both races and congratulations to the guys on the podium @Cluck @jamesl91 @Elodyr ! Again thanks everyone for racing!

I need a copy of the first race as I had a CTD and couldn't save it 118.
No matter how hard I try to stay out of trouble the first few corners always screws my race with either damage or being shunted off :(
EV3RY race is a learning experience. Had fun though and big thank you to Nighttiger for arranging this event :)

Speaking of replays, I saved both of them and they are working well. If any one wants it, I will upload it to google drive or dropbox

I would very much like a copy of those if at all possible please.

Really nice event and really happy about having a podium finish in the second race. Race 1 I qualified midfield but was blasted off to last place after being partly pushed off track which resulted in a spin in front of T5 on the first lap. After that I just worked my way forward eventually settling down in P10. Sorry to @-=EV3RY=- for the touch at 01:03 which resulted in a spin. Also wanted to take the slipstream of @Nighttiger a bit overeagerly at 05:20 misjudging his passing speed. Started 1st in the second race leading for some laps. Obviosly had to give up P1 to @Puffpirat not being close to his alien pace and eventually lost P2 to @Nighttiger . Had a really good fight with @xImJakeyy for P3 which I eventually won after a spin in the last lap from his side.

Time for me to give a breakdown of my races, they were so much fun and couldn't be more different! I qualified 14th place, didn't do any really good laps but still decent. Then I got a decent start and from on there it was just all action and sweet overtakes, suddenly at a moment I found myself P4, but sadly I lost the car after turn 2 which put me all the way back to P11, fought myself back to P8, only to spin it in lap 11 at the chicane again and fell back to P15. I was determined to finish P10 or better (for race 2 ;)) so I really went for it and finished P9 in race 1. What a race, so much clean action and fun, thanks all for that! Watch the highlight reel, I counted 19 overtakes in race 1 (some were spinners though haha)!

Started P2 for race 2, had a really poor start, after the first lap I was P3 though with Jakey in front, after a couple of laps he lost in in the corner before the back straight and handed me P2. Got overtaken by @Puffpirat , got some aero dmg of him because of netcode issue or a bit of lag but nothing major. @12:55 in the video He went off and devoured Elodyr for P1. I chased Elodyr for P2 and overtook him in a side by side overtake in the schumacher esses. Quiet race after that!

The highlight reel of both races is below, the first 10 minutes is all race 1 because of the sheer amount of action in that. The last few minutes is race 2. Enjoy!

@Nighttiger Sorry I blocked you off after my spin in race 1, Lap 9. I saw you in the rearview mirror and wanted to let you pass and move to one side, but in the end unwittingly blocked you even more :( (That's why I let you pass before the hairpin).

On behalf of the RSR staff, we would like to remind you that our Driving Standards apply to all events including official ranked events, fun/sprint nights and community events. RSR is known for the high driving standards and we would like to keep it this way.

Since the release of Project cars 2, we have noticed the standard of driving has dropped. Over the winter break we recommend you familiarise yourself with the Regulations (some have been updated) so we can get back to the level of driving we expect.

The video below is just a few examples of the rules broken in last Sundays Porsche Supercup event.

Finally, we would like to thank you for a fantastic 2017 and look forward to making 2018 even better! :)

Thank you for the video James, very instructive and i advise all members to revise it.

However, I don't need to follow the same comment restrain the admins need to when advising on this, so, i must say that #184 Blue and White driver, if all incidents are from the same person, to be blunt, is not a safe driver.

I haven't seen an incident like the #1 in a public server in ages...so seeing this on a privately organized lobby is kinda incredible.
