It will be the last 24 hour race of this year, the 24hrs of Spa-Francochamps! RSR is entering once again with 3 cars and for the very first with the BMW Z4 GT3.

The race will be streamed from multiple perspectives so you don't miss a second of the action. Our built-in multiview plugin gives you the possibility to watch all streams at the same time!

Tune in to see familiar iRacing endurance veterans including @falcon2081 who finally returns to Car #64. @ramiboo who is joining this year for the first time Car #64. @Pamellaaa, @GioVtec and @1185323118 who are both joining Car #65 for the very first time and making their debut in the RSR iRacing endurance history.

BMW Z4 GT3 [#64] - @falcon2081 @Yorkie_065, @ramiboo, @t0daY
BMW Z4 GT3 [#65] - @GioVtec, @Alex du Plessis, @Pamellaaa, @1185323118
BMW Z4 GT3 [#66] - @Bassetts, @Battenberg, @Dutchtastic, @Corbs

falcon2081 (iRacing Lead): We are finally back at it with the great Spa-Francorchamps! We are here to re-assert ourselves and prove that we can finish this amazing race. Sadly last year we didn't have good luck and were taken out. I also missed my chance to run this race but with my seasoned veteran team-mates I know we will do well. The BMW is also new to me but the car has show great pace around here even with its handicap in straight line speed. I want to give a huge shout out to everyone that dedicates their time to doing something like this. It takes a lot of work, practice, and dedication to your team. I wish all the sister cars good luck tomorrow and can't wait to start this race.

Spa is very much a love / hate relationship with me. At times, I love it! At others, it hates me and I hate it in return. A bit like Nurburgring, this is probably going to be a race of attrition with the walls being close, and little room for error in a number of places. It's such a classic track in that sense, with some places good for overtaking opportunities.

I'm hoping that the prep that we have done this week has set us up in a good position to take on the competition, as it being only a single class is going to bring on new challenges when it comes to traffic. Certainly looking forward to this one, as the team is looking strong with very similar pace so we should be good to capitalize when other teams switch to their slower drivers. Here's to hoping for another good RSR result!
Looking forward to another great 24 hours with my Friends here at RSR. Spa is an amazing track that I've had the pleasure of racing at a handful of times and it'll be a great challenge to do it virtually too. Running in the #64 car I'll be trying to up my game as much as possible due to the split we'll be running in, but also trying to run as safe and consistent to give the car the best chance of a good result. Good luck to all!
Last 24 Hour race of this year, new car, known track. Last year it was very messy at Spa-Francorchamps and I hope we can make things up for last years performance. We showed at Le Mans that our strength is our good mix between consistency and pace.

Good luck to our sister cars #65 and #66, it's hammertime!

After missing my debut in the 24hrs of Le Mans, I have now the chance to participate in the 24hrs of SPA. I feel confidence to attack one of my favorites and most fearest race tracks.
Our Car#65 will have 3 out 4 drivers making their debut with RSR in a 24hrs race, but we're going to do the best to cross the checker flag.

At least we can feel like the team with less pressure:smuggrin:.

Best of luck for Car#64 and #66.
So here we are again another 24h endurance race with RSR to be done and completed, number 5 so far and a new set of team mates to go. This is going to be fun and hopefully we can bring the car home in one piece. Just another walk in the park they say yeah right.;) Let us enjoy it and make everyone proud at RSR
My first endurance race ever and it's shaping up to be a serious challenge, looking forward to getting stuck in and hope I can keep the car out of danger (and walls) and deliver a strong pace for the team. My main aim for our inexperienced team is to get the car to the end but with some luck a strong result should also be within our reach.
Coming Soon...

Well as we approach the tail end of the 2017 of the iRacing Endurance events we see RSR and Car #66 heading to the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for our 5th endurance race of the season.

Again we are facing a new challenge in driving a old stalwart of the GT3 Class the BMW Z4, I know everyone has been working hard over the preceding weeks in preparation.
A new endurance race for me, and a new car to the RSR stable. I think this one will be gruelling with the level of competition and number of cars on the track. While it will be a relief to not worry about quicker classes, having 40+ cars on the same race pace means 1 thing: 24 hour sprint!
Spa, feels like home. Not because it's the extention of my backyard, but because this track symbolises the start of my iRacing career. Last time I drove here on the track was in the Audi R8 LMS, but since the BOP we decided to jump into the little BMW. With a few setup tweaks and a fresh paint, I feel like we can outperform the Mercedes armada.
Returning to an iracing endurance event after only making a brief cameo appearrance at le man, i'm looking forward to this event with car #66 and hoping we can get a clean run so we can show the pace we've had in previous event's but havent had the opportunity's to use

Woah! First 2 hour stint is done in the #66 car in Split 3.
We qualified 34th so I knew it was trouble the first few laps, I expected contact but even before the green there were 2 cars that spun in the chicane. After settling down and passing a few people (God, some guys were clean and had some great battles), my eyes spotted a purple Mercedes. @Corbs auickly confirmed it was AOR who qualified 15th. At this time were were already at position 24 in the field. I think me and Erti battled for a good 15 laps when I decided to pit a lap early and undercut him. We did with a whopping 15 seconds.
New tires, full tank ready to fly and surprise surprise position 19 was secured! Up next was TBR Red took me a good 15 laps to get near them and was able to pass them quite swiftly. Slight drift in no-name corner causing us to slide back behind them. Pitted early in position 18 to hand over a damage free BMW to @Corbs

update 2 car#66

Came out of the pit cycle 20th after taking over from dutch and struggled for pace initially and lost a few places but kept it clean for the stint.
2 laps into the second stint my game crashes at the exit of Blanchimont with no warning or error messages. lost a lap and dutch is back in early with luckily no damage

Early back in the car after iRacing wanted to take us down. Luckily no damage to the car so I went "Hammer time" on my 2nd stint. And I took the term "Hammer"quite litteraly since I started to get a few more offtracks and made some friends along the way who were, unfortunatly, in my way. Still tried to keep it all as clean as possible with 2 minor 4x and no optional repairs.
Didn't really look at the times untill the crewchief(s) were mentioning I was doing mid 22's and close to the top 15 fastests on track.
Pitted, did a "clean" stint with the occasional offtracks again with low/mid 22's to the low 23's in the last 10 laps. Time for a 3 hours break and then back in the car for the final stint for the Spa 24.

I want to know who has recently broken a mirror, made a RSR vodoo doll, or got themselves involved with a black cat because Lady Luck is nowhere to be found! :p

Well, that's 6 stints in the #66 car done.
How does the car look? "Spotless" absolutely no meaningfull incidents and an open road ahead of me during my last 2 hours in the car. Got a clean car after a stunning stint of @Battenberg which allowed me to hammer it down once again.
Full on 22's and only scraping very very low 23's even passing a few top 10 guys along the way.

Time for me to go to bed now for 3 hours tops, but I have full faith in my teammates in the #66 car @Bassetts @Battenberg @Corbs who'll be able to bring this pretty quick little beast to the finishline (Don't bring out the voodoo dolls).

It's unfortunate that both the #64 and the #65 are out of the race. Still a great job of those guys for the pace they've shown (or some willing to show). Thanks to those guys for practicing and willing to spend a whole weekend in a rig driving laps around probably the most hated track for safety rating :D
So who's up for Rookie Mazda's on monday?

car #66 update with 5 hours remaining 463 laps completed
currently running p14 with @Bassetts in the car half way through his second double stint. Just had our first bit of minor damage from car contact on laps 438 & 447 but it has had minimal effect on our pace. hopefully going to gain a few more places before the end

What a stunning job so far guys! P13 with an hour and a half to go!
Sitting here in Paris (Jardin du luxembourg) whilst watching Dave get into the car and not seeing optional repairs! Mindblowing! I never expected us to be top 20 at all. Kudos to everyone.

Also a random stranger was lurking with me. French driver who were driving a split or 2 lower in the Mercedes.

Another endurance race under the belt, exhausted but with a smile on my face. I'm left humbled with all of the community here at RSR.

@Admins

I would firstly like to thank all of you for the work you put in behind the scenes, your hard work makes this community the place it is, you guys deserve a huge due of credit.

@RevolutionSimRacing teams

A Huge thanks for all of the help and work people have put in during setup, testing, liveary's

@RevolutionSimRacing #66 Drivers.

Wow what a year.... For most of us we started the year as endurance racing debutants with no experience of the challenges endurance racing brings, fast forward six months and we have brought home car #66 in each of five endurance races of the year.

This is an amazing achievement, You guys are just amazing, the support, the rock solid comradary shown throughout adversary and the respect shown to each other.

I don't think we have done one endurance event together without a major incident, but as a team we have stuck together through think and thin and ground out result after result.
