Last time I raced Brands Hatch must be over 2 and a half years ago, some ESL Go GT3 race in a Ruf in PCARS1.
Yessterday it took ages to master the 1st corner and finally did about 6 clean laps, fastest lap 1:33.616.
A lot of room for improvement though, so with some practice I should be able to go 1.5-2 seconds faster.
Still have to figure out hot tyre pressures, had absolutely no grip at Imola, one mistake and the car went off track...
On youtube most Group A drivers have front in the 26-27 psi range, rear 25.4-26, so will experiment with that (front 1.80-1.85 bar, rear 1.75-1.80 bar).
Hopefully we will have a full grid next week ... so we all have something to race for :)

Haha ffs rushed home for the race its next week , that first bend can f*£¥ off for a few days
Point the car roughly where you need to go then smash the throttle, the grip comes when you reach the bottom of the pit and the suspension fully compresses. Only then you point away from the gravel, you have to believe :p

I have to work late on this night, buuut it might get cancelled because of Coronavirus. So who knows?
Already had 90% of all my work cancelled for the foreseeable future, daresay most of England will end up the same way...
May actually practise for Brands, not a track I could really enjoy

I am in Scotland this weekend I hope I'll be able to come back and race even though I wouldn't mind being stuck in West Highlands ^^

Aaand the first thing I hear this morning is that Thursday's event is cancelled. I'll still be working later than normal on that day, but should be back in time to race.

Sadly everything I do can be done just as effectively at home. No lounging for me...

Literally my first clean lap with a controller in a racing game. Ever. It was shamefully slow :D

EDIT: Oh and sans-VR too, for the first time in god knows how long. And my first clean lap in a racing game in well over a year . Those are my excuses and I'm damn well sticking to them.

We'll I might not have prepared properly, but at least I'm not spinning everywhere in practice now. Hoping to log on, enjoy some time in the sim and lose myself in a race for an hour or so. With all that's going on I feel grateful that my hobbies are among the least affected. I mean it when I say I'm looking forward to logging on with you all tomorrow...

I'll have a practice session up from 4.30pm UK time - that is when I finish work and as employer has sent everybody to work from home, my commute from my computer desk to my computer desk takes literally no time at all

So do I just take whatever car I want and stick with it for the rest of the season?
